BETHESDA, Md. — Alliance Defense Fund attorneys will be available for media interviews Sunday during the 2012 Students for Life of America National Conference. Media may attend by special arrangement or via live video feed.

The annual SFLA conference is the largest pro-life youth conference in the world, and the expected nearly 2,000 attendees will hear from featured prominent pro-life U.S. Congressmen, attorneys, scholars, activists, authors, and leaders. Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee will introduce a special screening of the film “The Gift of Life,” and this year’s Defender of Life Award will be presented to Chai Ling, founder of All Girls Allowed.

“Every innocent life deserves to be protected. ADF is again proud to stand with students as they promote this truth and resist the aggressive pro-abortion agenda and censorship that exists on many campuses,” said ADF Senior Counsel David Cortman.

“This is the first student pro-life conference that focuses on what our nation will look like once Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton are overturned,” said Students for Life Executive Director Kristan Hawkins. “We’re examining this from all sides: politically, economically, financially, medically, and socially. We want to not only encourage our students to take action that will successfully end abortion in our lifetime but shine a light on how specific industries will be shaped once abortion is overturned.”

The SFLA National Conference provides a full day of education, training, and networking for students and national pro-life leaders focused on how they can make a difference on public high school, college, and university campuses across America by proclaiming the pro-life message, including the often censored realities of abortion. Pro-life students will have the opportunity to share their stories face-to-face and glean from the experience of many seasoned pro-life activists from across the country.
