President Trump to address 2018 March for Life via video

Wednesday, Jan 17, 2018
The following quote may be attributed to Alliance Defending Freedom Senior Vice President of U.S. Legal Division Kristen Waggoner regarding the decision of President Trump to address the 2018 March for Life in Washington via video on Friday:

“For the first time in history, the sitting president of the United States will address via video feed the hundreds of thousands who gather to celebrate life at the March for Life. Alliance Defending Freedom will join with the president and other participants to exercise the freedom we have to express a pro-life message. We look forward to defending that freedom this spring at the U.S. Supreme Court on behalf of the National Institute of Family and Life Advocates and two NIFLA pregnancy centers, which exist to love and support women and their babies. Pro-life organizations shouldn’t be forced to communicate a message at odds with their core mission. Instead, they should be allowed to celebrate life, just as ADF, the president, and so many others will do on Friday.”

Alliance Defending Freedom is an alliance-building, non-profit legal organization that advocates for the right of people to freely live out their faith.
