Kevin Stitt’s signing Wednesday of SB 418, a bill that protects women and girls by prohibiting male inmates from invading private spaces where women are most vulnerable—such as changing rooms, sleeping quarters, and restrooms—in correctional facilities:

Letting men intrude into women’s intimate spaces is a denial of the real biological differences between the two sexes and has devastating effects on women.
