WASHINGTON – Alliance Defending Freedom, Spiked, and the Acton Institute are co-sponsoring a First Amendment forum at the Newseum Institute Thursday. Three different panels of experts will explore the troubles afflicting core First Amendment freedoms: speech, press, and religion. Media are invited to attend and/or watch the livestream coverage. ADF Senior Counsel Gregory S. Baylor will participate as a panelist and address the current assault on religious freedom.
“Americans of all faiths should be concerned with the extreme positions the Obama administration and many activist groups have taken to dramatically decrease religious freedom,” said Baylor. “We must defend our God-given freedoms against those who would seek to take them away.”
